                           PBIS INFORMATION                                                                              

     What is PBIS?  Positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a schoolwide systems approach aimed at establishing positive student culture and individualized behavior supports necessary to create a safe and effective learning environment for all students. 

     Students with GOOD BEHAVIOR are able to earn DOJO Points.  Children can earn Dojo points by demonstrating positive behaviour such as helping others, working hard, being kind to others and making good progress during lessons.

These points can be used for:

• Fun Fridays at the end of each month
• Special Days once a month (Students sign up and use points for bringing a stuffed animal, wearing a jersey, character dress up, or no uniform.)
• Drawings- book fair certificate, mystery bags, or yearbook
• Wearing hats on Fridays
